Description:
Today was my first shoot. I thought I wouldn_t be nervous until I was on my way this morning, and then it hit me. It is a pretty nerve racking experience. It was so much fun though, which I honestly didn_t think it would be. I met Addison and having her on the set helped calm my nerves. I_ve done 2 still photo modeling shoots before today, and one of them shouldn_t even really count. As I am sure it was noticed, I danced to a hip-hop song which just so happens to be the kind of music I listen to the most. I have so many different styles of music I listen to, but hip-hop and R&ampB are definitely the top two choices. I love to go out with friends and enjoy myself. Since I have moved to Arizona I also love to go shooting. It_s one of my favorite hobbies actually, which I was surprised about because I had never shot a gun until I moved out here before summer. I also like to catch up on a good book while laying by the pool. Although it may not look like it, I love to sunbathe and chill by the pool every chance I get. Most of the time I would rather be by the beach though. Honestly, that is my favorite place to be. Even if I have a ton of stress in my life it can all be relievd by just hanging out on the beach. It must be the California girl in me. One day, (hopefully sooner rather than later) I want to buy a house right on the beach, that way I can dip my feet into the oean water whenever I feel like. I like to dress up and look cute but I also love to just be comfy and feel free. I think that is why I_ve always wanted to live on the beach because I could be naked most of the time. Sounds funny, but it is true. One day, I want to work in the medical field, but we_ll see how all of that works out.

Another cool thing about modeling is that I can see the beautiful outcome when I see the final pictures. I_ve been modeling for about 2 and a half years now. I want to continue modeling and eventually branch off to other fun things. After I_ve accomplished enough in my modeling career, I want to eventually have my own business. I want to do something within the fashion industry. I know that clothes wont ever go extinct so I know that it will be a good business to pursue. I think that I would want my own bikini line or my own lingerie line. Then, when my business is successful I eventually want to give back. I want to make differences in peoples lives. I_m a very caring person. I like making people feel good. I know that people aren_t as fortunate as some others so I think that helping them out and doing a good deed would make me happy.

I_m a socal native who_s spent the majority of my life crisscrossing the states and occasionally the world. I_ve lived in many places across the socioeconomic spectrum, and doing so has given me a rather broad perspective as to society and life in general. Which is something valuable that I think only travel can offer, and I_m greatful to my wanderlust for granting me with it. I_m a nomad at heart and a main ingredient to my sense of happiness is to have a new somewhere on the horizon, a new culture to explore. Because of this love of travel and cultural immersion I initially majored in Socio-cultral Anthropology, and hope to resume the study when I head back to school. I_ve recently returned to the US after living abroad, teaching English in Costa Rica. And hope to spend more time living out my passion for travel in the future. Since being back in the states I_ve started working on my first album with Dirty White Boy Records, and working as a DJ, producer, gogo dancer, fashion designer, lyricist and vocalist as well. Though my musical background has mainly been classical and electric guitar, I_ve found the P.L.U.R. culture that surrounds EDM to be the most inspiring musical atmosphere out there at the moment. I love being a part of the rave scene and spreading good vibes, whether I_m gogo dancing, designing, or DJing. Some things I like to do for fun are horseback riding, fencing, watersports, speeding, forging, costume design, LARPing, learning new styles of dance, going to concerts, festivals, the opera and ballet. Also, I_m an avid reader, and have little patience for tv or most movies. I_d rather do something, or create something, than sit around being entertained.

Hmm my favorite food is pretty much anything thats a fruit And chicken When I eat though I don_t really like to have big meals all at once, I_d rather snack on differents foods though out the day. When I have free nights instead of going out to parties or anything I_d rather be at home with my family or reading a good book, sitting out at the beach with friends. I like things that are very kinda chilled and layed back. I cant stand the thumping music with the base thats like sufficating It makes me feel like I_m anxious and am like being over takin by it. Hate it. But I love music thats super catchy and easy and fun to dance to. Sometimes a little country is ok but have to be in the mood for that My pet peev is when people either chew their food with the mouth open or smack their gum So gross I don_t want to see or hear that, ish Even though I_m not really into sports I think hockey can be fun to watch when they get all aggressive and what not, sometimes thats exciting. But I probably choose to watch soccer over anything else because let me tell ya, those soccer player, oh wow I think thats all I have to say to make my point

So anyway I_m a vegetarian by choice but the animal cruelty aspect is definitely something that keeps me committed to it. Because I_m only human and we all show signs of weakness at times so granted if filet mignon didn_t involve the inhumane slaughtering of a helpess cow then I_d be at Mastro_s every holidaybirthdayanniversary whatever. I live in L.A where being veggie is a growing _trend_, fucking hipsters in Los Feliz shopping at Trader Joe_s and buying organic yet they_re smoking a cigarette as they ride their bike through town. I hate living in L.A, I_d much rather live in San Diego or another state. There_s such a stigma that comes with living in L.A and I found myself becoming a product of that environment and it was disgusting. If and when I transfer I_d like to go to SDSU. But that_s another story. I have one sister and my parents are not togther. I also have 5 dogs. I_m a major animal lover, I have a huge soft spot for animals. I hate arachnoids and any kind of critter or creepy crawley. Large bugs give me panic attacks. I currently work in marketing and it kinda blows but it pays the bills for now. I have been at this job for 2 years and I can_t complain. My bosses are a gay couple. When I started working there I was indifferent to same sex marriage, didn_t really care about the topic. If two people want to be togther then let them fucking be together who gives a shit? They recently got married and when they announced it I was really happy for them and then I reflected on myself and the fact that I am single. I_m not ugly, I know that. I know ugly and I am not it. I may not be some people_s type but Dita von Tease said you could be the sweetest peach on the tree and there_s always going to be someone who doesn_t like peaches I love that quote. Oh but my point is I wondered if maybe I was supposed to be a lesbian or something. In high school I was _experimental_ and learned quickly I do not like vagina. So I know I_m not a lesbian. Description:
My name is Rachel and I_m 19 years old. I_m a brown eyed brunette and I_m a quarter japanese, on my dads side. I want to travel the world one day and while I have traveled to almost every state, California is where I have always wanted to live. I used to visit a lot and have always loved everything about it. From the people, to the busy nightlife and the fact that there is always something to do. I used to imagine what life would be like if I lived there, and that has been my goal since I was a kid, to move to Cali. One of my favorite things about it would have to be the beaches. People have always told me that I_m like a fish, because I have always loved to swim and be near the water. Though I am scared of the open ocean. My biggest fear is the unknown. Which explains why the open ocean scares me. I love to travel and have been doing it since I was a kid. My favorite colors are green and blue and I love Italian food. Especially fettucine alfredo. Yum. I_m a sucker for sweets, I could eat a whole cake by myself. I love eating, but I try to balance it out by exercising everyday. After highschool I wanted to go to cosmetology school so I could do hair for a living but I got a scholarship to a different college and decided I would work on my actual education for a while. But I got bored, and the bills kept adding up, so rather than take out tons of student loans on something I wasn_t even interested in doing, I left to pursue modeling. I seem to find beauty in everything which is why I started out with photography, but soon I learned that I loved being behind the camera and I couldn_t get enough of it. I started taking my own pictures in my back yard to start my portfolio then gradually worked up to working with other photographers. I_ve been modeling for about 5 years now and love every bit of it. I can_t think of anything I would rather do. Which I guess is what life is about. Cause who want_s to get stuck doing something they hate? My biggest dream is to become a Victoria_s Secret model and travel the world. Or become a famous artist and have my own gallery but still travel. I_m a very deep thinker and will space out thinking about amazing things that interest me. I love when I can have a deep conversation with someone and either learn something new or teach something to someone else. It_s great to see other people_s opinions on a certain topic and how they think and feel about it. I hate when people bash other peoples beliefs or opinions just because they don_t agree. That_s one of my biggest pet peeves.
