Molly Dobbs (also Compton) is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera Coronation Street. Portrayed by Vicky Binns, the character first appeared on-screen during the episode airing on 5 September 2005. Introduced as the daughter of a local baker, she was the love interest, and later wife, of Tyrone Dobbs.
On 6 May 2010, Binns announced she was quitting the soap. The character was killed off on 9 December 2010 in a live episode celebrating the show's 50th anniversary, when she died from injuries sustained when a tram crashed into the corner shop.
