Intricate Unit (IU) is an American based industrial rock band formed by Ben Kopec. The band does not have a fixed line-up except for Kopec which writes the music by himself in the studio and then has members to play it live.
The band incorporates live theatrics such as lights that create unique visual experiences and a huge box covered in circuit boards that swings on the venue's pipes of over 6 meters in the air used to smash guitars live on stage.
