This is a list of characters featured in the PBS Kids television show Arthur, which is based on the book series by Marc Brown.
Arthur, the titular character, is the chief protagonist in the series. Buster, Francine, Muffy, Binky, the Brain, Sue Ellen, Mr. Ratburn, D.W., Kate and Arthur's parents are the major characters. Over the years, the roles of each character have changed and expanded as more episodes have focused on other characters besides the notable and major ones. Minor characters such as Fern, George, Prunella, The Tibble Twins, Emily, and Jenna, have gradually expanded roles in the series. Each of the characters are animals.
